This is a hugely impactful role in the studio where you will ensure the technical strategy aligns with the overall product and business objectives, fostering innovation while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency, scalability and quality.
  What you'll be doing: Create, execute and maintain the technical strategy for Project Zanaris and Community Servers.
Deliver & communicate updates on the product's technical progress and risks to senior leadership.
Build, lead, mentor and manage a multi-discipline team of talented engineers and engineering leaders.
Foster growth in the team's knowledge and nurture the development of the their technical skills, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
Engage in the creation of a technical people pipeline that is in line with the needs of the product.
Collaborate with design, product, analytics, and leadership teams to specify features for development.
Develop and communicate a compelling and clear technical strategy aligned with overall product objectives and vision, ensuring a shared understanding among stakeholders and the development team.
Actively engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and communicate technical updates, progress, and risks, fostering a collaborative relationship with stakeholders throughout the development process.
Help build and execute transparent roadmaps, create and deploy best-in-class processes, proactively identify and resolve issues, and innovate in software development.  Identify areas of technical improvement, establish and refine the technical strategy, and work directly with the relevant teams   to implement that strategy throughout the product areas.    What we're looking for: Proven experience in leading the technical direction of large-scale projects in the games industry.
Demonstrable experience of providing meaningful, scalable improvement to technical processes and pipelines.
A successful track record of successfully leading, managing, mentoring and scaling engineering teams and engineering leaders across multiple disciplines.
Extensive experience communicating complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for stakeholders at all levels.
Proven experience crafting and implementing long-term technical strategies that align with business objectives and product vision.
Excellent knowledge and experience of fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams, including design, analytics, and leadership, to achieve technical and product goals.
