Step Teachers are currently looking for a part-time Year 1 Class Teacher to work on Thursdays and Fridays.
This is a long-term role and does require planning.
The Primary School has 21 classes and is rated 'Good under the former Ofsted rating for schools.
Their curriculum strives to create and build their students' self-esteem and be a supportive environment.
Year 1 Class Teacher Role: Possess strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculumMaintain a tidy and organized classroom with easily accessible resourcesCollaborate effectively with other staff members both in the classroom and throughout the schoolMonitor, assess, and report on student progressPlan and deliver engaging lessons that can be adapted to the needs of the classWillingly comply with and effectively implement the school's policiesYear 1 Class Teacher Requirements: Hold Qualified Teacher StatusHave recent experience as a Primary School Teacher in a mainstream schoolDemonstrate good classroom and behaviour management skillsExperience working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is desirableWhy Step Teachers?With a rich history spanning over two decades, our teacher recruitment agency proudly serves North London, East London, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Cornwall, and Devon.
