Specialist Care Support Worker Winchester (Female only*) We are currently looking for compassionate female support workers to provide care to a woman in her 40s who lives independently in Winchester area.

This customerthrives when shes busy and entertained, as boredom can lead her to ask to go to bed.
She loves completing puzzles, playing games, and spending time outdoorswhether it's going for a walk, a drive, or a trip to the park.
She also enjoys watching her favorite film, The Snowman, keeping up with EastEnders, or playing on her iPad.
Her main goal is to access the community more often, so she would greatly benefit from someone who can drive her in her automatic car.

Available Shifts: Long Day : 7:00 AM 10:00 PM Morning : 7:00 AM 2:00 PM Afternoon : 2:00 PM 10:00 PM About You As a Specialist Care support worker you will play a crucial part in supporting this individual to live a meaningful and fulfilled life despite any physical or mental challenges they may face on a daily basis.
You will empower those you support to identify their goals, pursue their hobbies and in some cases, be part of the local community.
Youre an experienced, empathetic and resilient Support Worker, deeply committed to assisting individuals with a unique range of disabilities and associated health needs.
You will be compassionate, observant, patient and confident.
You will be skilled in monitoring changes in mood and developing techniques to calm and de-escalate.
Ideally you will have knowledge and experience of complex needs.
Youre able to communicate clearly and sensitively with vulnerable people and their families, and always adopt a person-centred approach.
You enjoy helping individuals to be independent through companionship, providing reassurance and enabling confidence.
You take pride in doing a great job and are happy assisting with cooking, domestic duties, personal care, attending appointments and social activities.
Youre keen to develop your career through training, learning and gaining relevant qualifications.
About the Role As a member of our Specialist Care Support Team, you will be passionate about making a difference to an individuals life.
The purpose of the role is to support our customers to achieve life goals and aspirations through social, emotional, physical and cultural requirements in a person centred way, as outlined in the customers individualised care plan, in a manner that is professional, positive and upholds the values of the SCiA Group.
Given the nature of the role there is a requirement for candidates to hold a full, valid and clean driving licence.
