What will the role look like?Sole responsibility for a specific area or areas within a project.All Commercial duties including measurement, valuation and agreement of work sections.Assist with preparation of interim applications for payment and internal valuations.Management and reporting of monthly costsDraft, manage and settle subcontracts, with assistancePreparation, agreement, maintenance and filing of records.Advise project management on contractual implications of intended courses of actionAssisting in preparation of claims.Identifying change and administering change control processAssisting with the preparation of final account, including pricing.Drafting and preparation of monthly contract review reports.Drafting and preparation of weekly Business Performance Review (BPR) information.Keep your manager fully advised of any issue/risk which has arisen or might arise and which could affect the business/projectCommunicating clearly and confidently to a professional standard.Day to day management of any trainee and/or assistant Commercial personnelWhat skills & experience are we looking for?Autonomously delivered a small to medium project or;Performed a support role to a commercial manager/senior commercial manager on a larger project and/or managed an area (£25m) of a larger projectDegree qualified in relevant discipline (Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management)
