Consortium Professional Recruitment is excited to partner with a world-renowned engineering business in their search for a skilled Design Engineer .

As a Design Engineer, you'll manage projects from concept through delivery , ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Collaborating across teams and supporting customers, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional engineering solutions.

Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities Design and develop equipment from concept to completion, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Create and review technical drawings, including piping and instrumentation diagrams.
Perform calculations for equipment sizing and structural integrity.
Provide technical support to internal teams and customers.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation, ensuring smooth execution.
Mentor junior engineers and assist in their professional development.
Collaborate with clients to deliver tailored solutions and attend project meetings as required.
Candidate Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with related software such as Autodesk Inventor.
Strong project management and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Skills & Behaviours Analytical and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects effectively.
Collaborative and solution-focused, with strong interpersonal skills.
High level of professional integrity and commitment to ethical practices.
