The Bosmere Medical Practice is a large practice with an excellent reputation and is located on the South Coast, near the beautiful South Downs National Park.
We are a high-earning, forward-thinking practice and operate from modern rented premises.
Main duties of the jobOur ideal colleague would be somebody who: Enjoys the camaraderie of working in a teamIs seeking a positive and supportive work environmentWants to develop both themselves and our practiceAbout usWe offer: Successful GMS training, teaching, and research practiceHighly competitive salary, medical indemnity insurance, and NHS pension paid for7 weeks annual leave (including study leave) + additional bank holidaysTier 2 Visa Sponsorship + mentorship for recently qualified GPs6 partners, 5 salaried GPs, 3 GP registrars, and an 11 strong nursing team (including 5 nurse practitioners & prescribers)Great opportunity to develop a specialist clinical interestClose working relationship as a team, including NP-run minor illness clinics, reception triage, and excellent admin and secretarial supportDiverse supporting multidisciplinary team, i.e., paramedic home visiting service, PCN-shared pharmacists, first contact physiotherapists, mental health & dementia specialists, and social prescribersRegular clinical updates, extensive electronic textbook library, and access to consultant-led GP educationHigh QOF achievement and good CQC ratingIn-house pharmacy and free on-site parkingJob responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will work as an autonomous General Medical Practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.
Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with our multidisciplinary team.
Person SpecificationQualificationsGMC registered General Medical PractitionerGP Performers listExperience1 year experience as a GPDisclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
