Interim HR Officer/HR Coordinator Day Rate: £120-£148 per day (could be more via Umbrella) Location: Kent Job Type: Temporary Reed HR have partnered with a company in Kent who are seeking a temporary HR Officer/HR Coordinator to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who is efficient, organised, and has a strong background in human resources with a few years' experience. The successful candidate will support our HR department in day-to-day operations as well as various project-based work.
Day-to-day of the role: Assist with recruitment processes including drafting job descriptions, posting job ads, and organising candidate interviews. Support the HR team in the administration of HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment and new starter packs. Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements. Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance. Help organise training & development initiatives. Provide payroll processing backup support. Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations. Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves. Coordinate meetings and interviews etc.. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, HR officer or other HR position at this level. Knowledge of HR functions (payroll & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.). Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures. Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude. Strong ethics and reliability. HR credentials (e.g.CIPD qualified or working towards it) are preferred. Benefits: Flexible working hours.
