Governance Officer- 4 weeks - Hybrid - Immediate Start- CardiffThe OpportunityWe are excited to be partnering with a local Housing Association to help them find a Governance Office for a short term role where you will support the Governance Manager to ensure corporate governance is maintained to a high standard.What You'll Be DoingAs a Governance Officer you will be responsible for:Write reports for Board and sub-committees, on governance related matters, making recommendations as required.Fully service, including the taking of minutes and maintenance of action logs for all Board Meetings, Board Sub-Committee meetings and internal committees/meetings as required.Work pro-actively with colleagues to ensure policy reviews and related actions are taken.Undertake Data Protection Impact Assessments, in liaison with relevant colleagues, and maintain a log of all assessments undertaken.Oversee and co-ordinate complaints in line with policy, across the Association.What We're Looking ForTo succeed in this role, you will need:Strong minute taking skillsA knowledge of data protection in practiceGood level of IT literacyKnowledge of how to redact documentsGood written and spoken communicationHow You'll Be RewardedIn return for your expertise, you'll receive:£19 per hourA hybrid working environmentOffice hoursIf you have a background in governance and would have strong minute taking skills I would like to hear from you
