Job Title: Panel Wirer Hours: 07:30-16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:00-13:00 Friday (39 hours in total) Overtime: Monday to Saturday x1.5, Sunday x2 Location: Droitwich Salary: £14.60 per hour (Annual Salary: £29,604) Duration: Permanent Job Description: As a Panel Wirer , you will be responsible for assembling and wiring control panels to technical specifications and schematics.
This is a hands-on, critical role that requires precision and attention to detail.
You will work within a team to ensure that all wiring and components meet safety and quality standards.
Day-to-Day Duties: Assemble and Wire Control Panels: Follow technical diagrams and schematics to assemble and wire control panels to specified requirements.
Conduct Quality Checks: Perform thorough checks on wiring and components to ensure they meet safety standards and technical specifications.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose and solve any wiring or electrical issues.
Maintain a Clean and Safe Workspace: Ensure your work area remains organized and complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
Participate in Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving the quality of work.
Document Completed Work: Accurately document all work completed and assist in inventory management of electrical components, ensuring stock levels are monitored and updated.
Additional Information: This is a permanent role, offering a stable work environment with regular working hours and the possibility for overtime.
