They are to lead in the development of rehabilitationservice deliveryand advise on physiotherapywithin thePrimary Care Rehabilitation Facility (PCRF).They will act as a source of advanced clinicalexpertise in the management of musculoskeletal dysfunction and provide anadvisory service to patients, other senior physiotherapists, Health CareProfessionals and General Practitioners (GPs) within the practice and region.

Job description Job responsibilities Duties and responsibilities for the role include but arenot limited to:Performing highly skilled physiotherapeutic assessments ofpatients referred by Consultants and Medical Officers (MO) from across theDefence Medical Rehabilitation Program; presentations will include diverse,complex, and chronic physical and psychological conditions and sports andtraining injuries.
To use clinical reasoning skills to provide an accurateclinical diagnosis.Acting as an integral component of the specialistMulti-disciplinary Injury Assessment Clinic (MIAC), working across a wide rangeof codes of practice and broad occupational policies.Formulating, developing and delivering a specialisedindividualised treatment programme based upon evidence-based practice, manualassessment, and appropriate clinical reasoning.Leading in development of junior SpecialistPhysiotherapists, offering advice and help with more complex conditions bothwithin the Practice and across the DPHC Region.Assisting the Healthcare Governance Lead in developingprotocols to enhance the clinical development and efficacy of clinics andSpecial Interest Groups.Managing and prioritising own clinical caseloadefficiently and effectivelyPlease refer to theattached Job Description and Person Specification for the full list of duties.Selection ProcessThe Ministry of Defence is committed to providing a safe andhealthy working environment for its staff which includes educating them on thebenefits of not smoking, protecting them from the harmful effects ofsecond-hand smoke and supporting those who want to give up smoking.
