Location -South Birmingham Position - Year 2 Primary Teacher Type of work - Class Teacher - Contract or position start date - ASAP or January 2025 Duration - Daily and Long term Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary Full time/part time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - Negotiable Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) Key Responsibilities: Planning and Teaching: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the Year 2 curriculum, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
Assessment and Tracking: Regularly assess student progress and implement effective strategies to support both high-achieving students and those requiring additional support.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.
Collaboration: Work alongside the Year 2 team and other staff members to ensure consistency and high standards in teaching and learning.
