Main duties of the job To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administrative duties along with the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team.
To act as the central point of contact for patients, be responsible for the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaise with multi-disciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.Duties can include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, the processing of information and assisting patients as required.

We have two GP Partners complimented by 4 Salaried GPs, a Nurse Practitioner, GP Trainees, a Clinical Pharmacist, a great Nursing Team, and a friendly reception team.
We have full access to a range of ARRS staff including Care Coordinators, General Practice Assistants, First Contact Physiotherapist, Mental Health Practitioner and Social Prescriber.
Patient list size 6,500.

There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:1.
Process incoming and outgoing mail2.
Photocopy documentation as required3.
Process changes to patient registration, deduction of record and new patient registration4.
Input data into the patients healthcare records as necessary5.
Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers requests appropriately6.
Welcome patients and visitors to the organisation, directing requests appropriately7.
Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested8.
