Accounts Payable Assistant / Purchase Ledger Assistant North Derbyshire - DE55 £27,500 + Benefits Eaton Syalon is delighted to be working on behalf of a well-established and respected business based in North Derbyshire to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in an Accounts Payable setting to join a thriving team and offers future career development and study support.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and interacting regularly with the wider finance team, you will be a key contributor to the efficient running of the Accounts Payable function.
You'll also build strong relationships with internal departments and external suppliers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing a high volume of transactions across multiple entities and currencies.
Key Responsibilities Coding, checking, registering, and processing purchase invoices Managing supplier transactions for the group Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies or queries.
Communicating with suppliers and internal teams to address and resolve accounts payable queries.
Processing employee expenses Assisting with month-end procedures and reconciliations This role is ideally suited to you if you have experience within a busy Accounts Payable role already.

You will require well developed interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and the ability to work well within a busy team.
If you are familiar with ERP systems and have MS Excel skills this would be ideal.
