Job DetailsGrade: 7E Hourly Rate: £17.97 - £19.63 Salary: £34,.98 - £37,.59 per annum Contract Duration: PermanentRole PurposeThe Scottish Borders Council is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Workshop Foreman to join its Fabrication workshop team based at Newtown St Boswells.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent organizational and administrative skills, strong IT proficiency, and the ability to lead a team to success.
As the Workshop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop and ensuring the highest quality of work is produced.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent fabrication skills, the ability to work unsupervised, a vision for the future, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
In addition, you should be a qualified motor Fabricator and hold a current class c driving licence.
