Yard Operative

Stafforce are currently working with a growing manufacturing company in Barnsley to recruit a Yard Operative for their Site.
You will be working for an international market leader, using a range of machinery to complete recycling processes on site.
What to Expect: ? A hands-on role in operating recycling equipment, sorting materials, and ensuring glass is processed to high standards for reuse in manufacturing.
? Working with modern machinery in a fast-paced environment where safety and sustainability are top priorities.
? Tasks include loading, crushing, sorting, and monitoring recycled glass materials while adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental protocols.

What We Need from You: ? A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about recycling processes and equipment operations.
? Physical fitness to handle manual tasks such as lifting, sorting, and loading materials.
? Experience in a similar environment (manufacturing, waste management, or recycling) is an advantage but not essential; training is provided.
? Strong attention to detail for quality control and adherence to safety standards.
? Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
