JOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the O&M Area Manager, you will be expected to deliver scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services to (but not limited to) Vestas V47 and V52 wind turbines.
Knowledge of Vestas platforms will be a plus.
Maintaining the highest levels of safety to comply with all health and safety requirements including the WTSR.
Attend and rectify faulted turbines in a timely manner.
Partake in weekend on call rata.
Scheduled service in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines Coordinating local spare part and consumable stock.
Attend and faulted turbines in a timely manner to, Fault-finding, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair on all turbine systems, which will include mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assemblies and major components.
Proactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime.
Ensuring the highest level of turbine availability Ability to Communicate effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications, experience and transferable skills Proven experience and knowledge of the wind industry, particularly working with V47 and V52 turbines.
In-depth knowledge of wind turbine technology, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
Ability to fault find and problem solve.
Ability to prioritise tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong experience of managing risks and challenges of working in a wind turbine environment High level of physical fitness and good health Full UK driving licence.
