Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Telford.
£5,000 signing-on bonus after successful completion of a probationary period (subject to T&Cs) For the successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, our client is offering: £54,000 per annum 7:00 - 7:00, 4 on 4 off (days and nights) Permanent position £5,000 signing-on bonus (Payable after passing probation) Annual 5% bonus Benefits package including life assurance and health care cover Overtime available at x1.5 rate The Role - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: To diagnose faults and to test, repair, and maintain Mechanical / Electrical equipment Maintaining and improving all plant, processes and assets to a safe, efficient and reliable standard Contact OEM's and other suppliers for technical support as and when required and expedite parts when not available on-site Diagnose and repair equipment faults in a timely fashion, ensuring the smooth running of the Engineering Request System Use and support departmental 5s programmes for workshops and stores Developing and recording all engineering activities carried out by use of the Electronic Ensure the completion of the PPM tasks and formulate improved maintenance practices All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard What our client is looking for in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: Recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL Experience within the FMCG industry - ESSENTIAL Must be Muli-Skilled - ESSENTIAL Food/FMCG background - DESIRABLE OSHH/Nebosh - DESIRABLE Apprentice trained with experience of working on fast-moving machinery, pumps, valves, and PLCs - ESSENTIAL Alternative job titles: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Shift Engineer, Maintenance Engineer Commutable From: Market Drayton, Wem, Telford, Newport, Nantwich, Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Crewe For further information about this and other positions please apply now This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Recruit4staff (Wrexham) Limited who are operating as a recruitment agency, agent, agencies, employment agency or employment business JBRP1_UKTJ
