Job summary We are looking fora salaried GP working for the Haverhill PCN but based exclusively at HaverhillFamily Practice.
The Salaried GP must havequalified within the last two years.The initial contact will be for 12 months but will be reviewed thereafter.We are looking for a salaried GP for 4 sessions (2 full days) Main duties of the job The salaried GP will be responsible for providing medical care and services to the practice population, managing a clinical caseload and dealing with a diverse range of health needs.This will include consultations (either face to face, via telephone or via e-consults), home visits and administration.
About us Haverhill Family Practice is a GP surgery located in the market town of Haverhill Suffolk.We are within walking distance of the town centre and the main bus station.We are part of the Haverhill PCN.We are a five Partner practice with our clinical team comprising of a salaried GP, regular GP Locums, Advanced Care Practitioners (ACP's), Paramedics, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and a pharmacy team.
In addition we also have an in-house First Contact Physiotherapist and Mental Health Link Workers.In addition to our normal GP services we provide a minor surgery clinic, vaccination clinics and home visits by our nursing team to monitor Long Term Medical Conditions.Quarterly training sessions are provided by Suffolk & North Essex Integrated Care Board.
The Practice closes one afternoon so that all clinical staff can attend.
We also offer monthly Lunch & Learn sessions for the clinical team which is led by Consultants from the Nuffield Hospital.We are a friendly, busy practice with excellent staff retention.We were approved as a GP Training Practice in August 2022 and currently have four GP Trainees.Our current list size is 19,465 patients.Our CQC rating is Good.
