Construction Design Technology Secondary Teacher Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Design & Technology Teacher, with a particular focus on Construction, to join a vibrant secondary school in North Leeds on a 0.8 FTE (there is the option for FT if this is preferred); This would be to start in January for two terms intially.
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across KS3 / KS4 and help them develop practical skills and critical thinking.
  You must have a clear understanding, and be able to teach, predominently Construction, and also Product Design and Resistant Materials.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and hands-on Design & Technology lessons aligned with the curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and experimentation.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Design & Technology curriculum and share best practices.
Foster an appreciation for design principles, engineering, and technology among students.
Qualifications: Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
Experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for design and technology and the ability to inspire students.

  Pay is dependent on experience.  All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
