Responsibilities Build modern web services with RustCollaborate with other engineers throughout the development processDesign, develop, and test codeCommunicate your design and implementation decisions Requirements 2+ years of commercial software development experienceFluent in and passionate about Rust, with 1+ years of experienceInterest in designing easy to use APIsProven team-based software development experienceEnthusiasm for quality software engineeringSmart, adaptable, and enthusiasticClear written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detailBachelor's in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related fieldExisting work authorization for United Kingdom Recommended Qualifications Experience with C++ or JavaScriptFamiliarity in designing and developing RESTful web servicesExperience in using Git source controlKnowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform or AWS is helpful but not requiredFamiliarity with GIS applications and technologies an advantageUnderstanding of Test-Driven Development -------------------------------Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy.
Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
