As the Head of Electronics Engineering, you'll be tasked with steering a talented team of engineers towards ground-breaking achievements.
You'll have no more than 10-direct reports with a multi-disciplinary team who have a good team culture that values innovation, excellence, and personal growth.
Meaning you'll be able to get on with the people and project management side of the job.
Some change management will still be required.
In this pivotal role, you'll utilise your previous experience as specialist in an area of engineering covering either RF, Electronics or Embedded Software coupled with at least 5-years management experience to drive the strategic direction of the engineering efforts moving forward.
Your primary responsibilities will include: Leading and motivating a team of 8 RF & Electronic Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Overseeing project management processes, from inception to delivery, while adhering to strict time and budget constraints.
Championing innovation and new product development initiatives, guiding projects from concept to market launch.
Maintaining robust budgetary oversight, setting and managing budgets to optimize resource allocation.
Base salary for this position is up to £90,000, bonus is typically 5-10%, allocated Car Allowance, 25 days holiday (increasing over-time), life assurance, hybrid working, full-sick pay (should the worst happen), and more.
