Polytec are looking for a Senior Principal Electronics Engineer specialising in Digital design for our client based just north of Cambridge.
Responsibilities:Requirements analysis and understandingTechnical design and specification of digital and analogue circuitryComplete subsystem design and implementationIntegration with RF, Audio and MMI subsystemsComponent specification and sourcingDesign, integration and test documentationDefinition, implementation and supervision of PCB layout rules and constraintsResolution of design and integration issuesInteraction with SW team at device driver level (especially during bring-up phases)Type approval supportProduction technical supportTechnical support to end customersRequirements analysis to identify technical solutions and credible development estimates for significant product changeLead technical recruitment interviewsResponsibility for creation of functional and detailed design documents for components/modules/products under developmentRequirements:Demonstrable experience of leading and owning the design of electronic systemsStrong background in electronics design from initial concept, specification through to software and systems integration, test, and manufactureExcellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to mentor less experienced engineersAble to work in a small, focused team, sometimes against tight deadlinesConscientious, enthusiastic and reliable attitudeAbility to take a technical lead, working to a high level of qualityPlease contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
