Prospero Teaching are currently working with a lovely primary school based in Branksome who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to start in a full-time position in January within year 2.
The suitable candidate will be confident, resilient and comfortable working with SEN pupils who require extra support, sometimes in 1:1 scenario's.
This would be an ideal role for a Teaching Assistant keen to join a strong staffing team who are dedicated and passionate about their work.
Contract details for Teaching Assistant role : Location - Branksome Position - Teaching Assistant Contract or position start date - January Contract type - Permanent/Temporary - Permanent Full time/part-time - Full time Rate of pay - £13.09 per hour Hours - 8:30am - 15.30pm Experience, training and qualification : Calming mannerisms in challenging situations Ability to think quickly & without supervision Confident when working with small groups or 1-1 Strong behaviour management skills while creating a fun learning environment Driven to motivate the pupil and increase participation Be caring, patient and have good communication skills Be self-reflective, have a willingness to learn and demonstrate initiative Willing to complete Safeguarding online training To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must : Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references Prospero Teaching is able to offer the successful candidate : Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management In-house Training and Development Team An experienced consultant working within your area, being able to discuss potential opportunities & guidance if needed TPBN1_UKTJ
