We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Reading for a January 2025 start.

About the Role: As a Year 5 Teacher , you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge your students.
You will work within a collaborative team, ensuring every pupil reaches their personal best.
The role will include: Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the Year 5 curriculum requirements.
Fostering a positive learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to succeed.
Supporting the academic development of each child, ensuring they are prepared for the transition to Year 6.
Assessing students' progress and using data to inform your teaching, providing timely feedback to parents and the leadership team.
Encouraging creativity and independent thinking , helping children to become confident, self-motivated learners.

What We're Looking For: To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who is: A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and a passion for working with children.
Experience teaching Year 5 or a similar age group is preferred, though not essential.
Skilled at delivering engaging lessons across a broad range of subjects, with a focus on literacy and numeracy.
Able to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Organised, proactive , and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
A strong communicator , with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
