Your new company
We are looking for a HSE Advisor on a contract basis to join our Building team based in Reading, to provide functional Health & Safety advice and guidance. The role will also involve supporting AWE Burfield and requires SC Clearance.
Your new role Preventing injury to personnel and damage to plant and equipment. Improvement in existing working methods. Legal requirements affecting health, safety and welfare and the adequacy of facilities provided. Provision and use of protective clothing and equipment. Suitability from a safety viewpoint of plant, equipment, materials and services, and the validity of all appropriate test certificates, and whether they comply with all statutory requirements. Potential hazards arising from contracts and on-site safety organisation, arrangements and fire precautions required. Methods of safe working. Changes in legislation. What you'll need to succeed NEBOSH General or Construction Member of IOSH Good knowledge of H & S Legislation Previous experience in a construction health and safety position SC Clearance British Passport holder What you'll get in return
In return, you will have the opportunity of working on a large infrastructure site based in Reading on a contract basis. Highly negotiable rates.
