In the UK KP Snacks consists of c2,300 colleagues across our seven factory locations and Slough HQ. We make great tasting snack brands such as Hula Hoops, McCoy’s, Pombear, KP Nuts, Butterkist popcorn, Tyrrells and popchips.


Salary : £26,341.88 per annum rising to £27,132.14 after a successful 3-month probation period.

The Role:

We have a number of opportunities for Production Operatives to join the friendly team at our Leominster factory. The job entails carrying out a variety of factory skills safely and efficiently, using complex equipment to ensure production is maintained to the highest level. The role of Production Operative is wide-ranging and offers a great deal of variety with full training - you will be trained to operate the line (packing or process) complete daily routines, perform checks and report defects.


The working hours for the role are 4 on 4 off days and nights. 12-hour shifts 6-6. This means you will work 4 dayshifts (6am-6pm), 4 days off and then 4 nightshifts (6pm-6am). Due to our idyllic, rural location, you will need your own transport

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within manufacturing or the food industry (highly desirable)
  • Level 2 in Food Safety for Manufacturing (desirable, although bespoke training is provided)
  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy in English
  • The ability to take ownership and accountability
  • The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
  • The ability to work independently as well as within a team
