Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year plus commissionJob Description:About the RoleWe are looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Plant Hire Controller and Commercial Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the hire of plant machinery and equipment to our clients, ensuring smooth operations from initial enquiry through to delivery, collection, and invoicing.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has strong communication and organisational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day plant hire operations, including equipment allocations, scheduling, and contract processingHandle customer enquiries, provide quotations, and offer guidance on suitable equipmentMaintain accurate records of all hires, deliveries, and returnsCoordinate logistics with drivers and yard staffMonitor fleet availability and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors when requiredEnsure all hired equipment meets safety and quality standards before dispatchAdminister hire contracts, purchase orders, and client accountsResolve customer issues promptly and professionallySkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in plant hire, construction, logistics, or a similar operational role (preferred)Strong administrative and organisational skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyGood IT skills, including experience with hire management software (desirable)Knowledge of plant equipment and machinery is an advantageDesirable Attributes:·IT literate on MCS/RM Software experience would be usefulAttention to detail & accuracyStrong planning and organisational skills.Disciplined time managementWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packagePaid HolidayPensionHybrid WorkingOpportunities for training and career developmentSupportive team environmentA varied and rewarding role with real responsibility"New Hires" Commission StructureHow to ApplyIf you’re ready to take on an exciting challenge and contribute to a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you Please follow the link with our applicant mail.Experience:Plant hire: 1 year (required)Work Location: Hybrid
