Planning Manager – Food/FMCGDronfield | 🕗 Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm (flexible) Salary: £55,000 + BenefitsWe’re looking for a Planning Manager to lead our planning team and take ownership of daily and future production plans. You’ll work with production, logistics, and supply chain to make sure every bake is delivered on time and to the highest standard.What you’ll doLead and develop a team of 6 plannersOwn daily, short-term, and long-term production plans (ambient & frozen)Ensure service levels, plan attainment, and stock build targets are achievedPlan bake schedules across multiple production linesCarry out capacity modelling to balance short- and long-term needsCollaborate with production, logistics, inbound/outbound, and supply teamsUse SAP/ERP and Excel to forecast, analyse data, and optimise performanceInvestigate planning challenges and drive continuous improvementWhat we’re looking forExperience in planning/factory scheduling (bakery or food industry a bonus)Strong Excel and data analysis skillsSAP/ERP experience preferredKnowledge of capacity planning, forecasting, and line capabilityUnderstanding of ingredients, logistics, and supply chain operationsProactive problem-solver with strong leadership skillsAmbitious and ready to step up into a senior roleWhy join us?Lead a key planning function in a fast-paced bakery environmentMonday–Friday hours with flexibilityCompetitive salary + benefitsClear opportunities for growth and progressionApply now and take the next step in your planning career
