Job Role: Accountant / Bookkeeper Salary: £24,000 – £32,000 per annum dependent on experience Location: Cambridge Research Park, CB25Hours: Full time Monday to Friday with hybrid workingGreen and Purple Limited offer a CFO led virtual finance function. Working with small to medium sized businesses across a variety of industries, who supply a full service accounting function to our clients. We offer a flexible, vibrant, supportive and collaborative working environment. Current team of 52 including payroll bureau and 5 directors. Work Experience Ideally having worked within an accountancy practice, however will consider candidates within an industry role. Processing data entry for some or all of purchase invoices, sales invoices, bank transactions. Skills and Knowledge Ability to communicate well with clients and understanding their accounting and reporting requirements. Assisting in the timely completion of all aspects of accounts preparation and management reporting for clients, working for and taking direction from account managers, assistant manager and manager. Data entry and ledger management. General bookkeeping. High level of IT literacy (accounting packages & Excel in particular). Effective time management and prioritisation of work to meet client deadlines and respond quickly to clients changing needs.
