With growing demand across their security programmes, they are now searching for an experienced Penetration Tester to join their established team.The BenefitsExposure to varied testing engagementsCollaborative and supportive technical environmentOpportunity to deliver high impact security testing across complex environmentsThe Penetration Tester RoleAs the Penetration Tester you will carry out a full range of technical security assessments across infrastructure, applications and networks, using manual and automated techniques to help identify and manage vulnerabilities. You will contribute to research activity, maintain current knowledge of threat trends, produce clear reports and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will also support specialist assessments, security management consultancy and compliance-based work when required.Penetration Tester Essential SkillsProven experience (minimum 2 to 3 years) in an IT security role at CTM levelCHECK Team Member qualification (CREST or CyberScheme)Strong knowledge of penetration testing tools, for example BurpSuite, Metasploit and NmapSolid understanding of Windows and *NIX environmentsAbility to configure network devices, firewalls, IDS or IPS and wireless technologiesExperience working with cloud environments, for example AWS or AzureStrong reporting skills and the ability to communicate complex issues clearlyUnderstanding of GDPR, ISO27001 and PCI DSSHold active SC clearanceRelevant degree or postgraduate degreeTo Be ConsideredPlease either apply through this advert or email me directly via robin.muirhead@searchability.com.
