The culture of this consultancy is both supportive and collaborative, bringing together the very best elements of working for an established company, such as interesting projects of all scales yet maintaining a close-knit teamResponsibilitiesThis design focused role would suit a project manager with some building services mechanical design experience or a building services mechanical design engineer looking to move into more of a project management role.Working as part of a design team delivering detailed designProviding project management and mechanical design expertiseLiaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teamsAttending a range of project group and technical meetingsEnsuring that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirementsOverseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating proceduresUsing specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design the systems required for the projectCarrying out condition surveys and providing recommendation reports to clientsExperience RequiredAccredited Building Services degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND) in mechanical engineering.Post education experience in Building Services or Mechanical engineering, experience with running projects including project management calculations, drawings, specifications, etc Experience of industry standard software
