With ambitious growth plans and significant investment in our facilities, this is a fantastic time to join our team and shape the future of turbine technology.We are looking for a Gas Turbine Engineer who will play a central role in defining the specifications for turbine maintenance, repair and overhaul, ensuring assets achieve the highest standards of performance, reliability and compliance. You’ll be part of a highly skilled engineering community that thrives on solving complex challenges, driving continuous improvement, and developing innovative repair solutions.What you’ll be doing:Setting technical specifications for the overhaul, inspection, and repair of aero-derivative gas turbinesOverseeing disassembly, inspection and reassembly activities, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, tolerances and standardsLeading troubleshooting and diagnostic investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actionsDriving continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce downtimeCollaborating with cross-functional teams including design engineers, OEMs, supply chain, and operations to deliver seamless project executionWhat you bring:Strong technical expertise in gas turbines and rotating equipment, with practical experience of MRO environmentsProven track record in repair schemes, diagnostics, and troubleshootingKnowledge of RB211 and/or Avon products (desirable but not essential)Experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actionsThe ability to interpret data from sensors and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faultsA degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience (preferred)A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and attention to detailWhy Sulzer GT Aero?This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to be part of a business that is investing for the future.
