You will be there to maximise profit and cash sales through efficient stock management, potentializing sales and minimising markdown.ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day trading of department to ensure maximum profit and minimum markdownMaintain WSSI through weekly updates of stock levels, sales and intake as well as re-forecasting sales Highlighting areas of concern and potential to MerchandiserPropose and cost markdown and promotional activity whilst taking into consideration margin impactCarry out analysis of product performance throughout season and use to influence merchandising decisions for current and future seasonsAssist the merchandiser in range planning for upcoming seasonsInput into the departmental strategy, producing historical analysis as requiredSupervise and manage allocation function in-line with company and departmental KPIsTraining and development of Allocator to achieve set objectivesInput into cross functional activity as required eg.
