Originally focused on solving inefficiencies in the construction sector, the company’s platform is now expanding across industries, helping clients streamline complex processes with agentic AI systems.As a Senior AI Backend Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in building and scaling the core platform. Working directly with the CTO and founding team, you’ll design backend architecture, build data pipelines, and integrate AI/LLM components into production systems.Role Breakdown:50% Backend Engineering: FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, CI/CD30% Data Engineering: ETL, DBT, Airflow20% AI/LLM Integration: LangChain, RAG pipelines, orchestrationKey Responsibilities:Design and build backend services to support AI agent deploymentDevelop scalable data pipelines and integration layersImplement AI/LLM-powered features with LangChain and related frameworksCollaborate with the CTO and adoption engineering team to deliver production systemsContribute to architecture decisions for scalability and reliabilityKey Details:Salary: £80,000–£100,000Working Model: Hybrid (2–3 days/week in Central London)Team: 10-person founding group including CTO, Head of Front-End, and adoption engineersReporting Line: CTOVisa: Cannot sponsorIdeal Profile:5–8 years’ experience in backend or data engineering (Python)Exposure to AI/LLMs, RAG, or personal AI side projectsExperience in startups or scale-ups where you’ve helped build or grow systemsSolid education and strong coding fundamentalsComfortable working in a small, fast-moving founding teamThis is an opportunity to help shape the technical foundation of a company at the forefront of agentic automation — building a platform that’s already profitable, scalable, and in high demand.If interested, please apply below.
