Lettings Advisor

We are looking for a Lettings Advisor to deliver the lettings and moving service for all our customers to ensure a smooth moving experience, working collaboratively with the District teams and Customer Resolution Centre in areas of expertise while maintaining strong relationships with key partners internally and externally in line with CHP’s corporate objectives.What you'll be doingMaximise the turnaround and usage of all properties in line with CHP’s corporate objectives, working closely with Homes and Places teams.Work pro-actively with Local Authority partners to develop high quality lettings plans for all new build schemes to help create cohesive and sustainable communities.Manage all aspects of the shortlisting process in accordance with the allocations policy, including temporary accommodation.Complete references, affordability, and pre-tenancy checks to identify customers to view our properties and coordinate with relevant District teams to schedule viewings.Manage the end of tenancy process following notification, co-ordinating with District teams to arrange end of tenancy inspections and documentation.What we are looking forUnderstanding of social housing and lettings process.Knowledge of data protection legislation and working with sensitive personal data.Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to use your initiative and take a flexible approach in managing conflicting priorities under pressure.Experience of working in a customer focussed role with proven ability to deal with conflict and difficult conversations.Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: This role will require a minimum of one day a week in the office with potential to increase in the future.BenefitsThe salary for this post will be £37,270 Per Annum.Learning and development opportunitiesHealthcare cash planRobust employee reward and recognition programmeFree and confidential Employee Assistance ProgrammeCHParticipate volunteering programmeCompetitive pension scheme25 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays, 3 extra days between Christmas and New Year and 1 wellbeing day per annum.37 hours per week - employees may be able to work flexibly by agreement with their line manager, taking account of business need.
