The VacancyThe Geosciences division within RSK Group Ltd, one of the UK’s largest environmental consultancies has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Surface Water Consultant to join the growing team in Hemel Hempstead, UK. Working alongside an experienced team you will get involved with a vast array of development projects.Responsibilities:You will be involved with providing environmental advice regarding surface water management and environmental incidents on a wide range of projects.Assisting with the production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sitesAuditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management PlansAdvising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements for Surface Water Management and associated waste permits/exemptionsLiaison with regulators including the Environment Agency/ National Resources WalesResponse / management of environmental incidents, including, fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent dischargesAdvice and on-site training of clients on issues including ecology, contamination and waste managementAssisting with the production of quotations/tenders for new projectsAssisting with the management of clients and projectsPerson specification:There is a range of opportunities for individuals with between 0 and 2 years post graduate experience in the environmental sector.Full UK driving licenceSalary and benefits:Commensurate with experienceContributory Pension SchemeTraining by senior team members to enable technical and managerial progressionSignificant support and encouragement to gain chartered status.A flexible benefits programme including the option to buy additional holidaysWe encourage Continuing Professional Development and are committed to supporting candidates with chartership.The RSK Group Are An Equal Opportunity Company#Environmental #Construction #CivilengineerRSK will not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies other than RSK PSL or Secondary agencies.About UsWe are a market-leading site investigation, contaminated land and geotechnical consultancy with geophysics and survey teams and waste management consultants, operating from 20 UK locations.
