If so, then a career with STERIS Instrument Processing would be a great fit for you.Working Pattern12 weeks of full-time training on Monday-Friday at 8:00-16:00. Then, move to full-time permanent shiftAvailable shifts06:00-14:00 Monday - Sunday (5 days a week) includes weekends14:00-22:00 Monday - Sunday (5 days a week) includes weekends22:00-06:00 Monday - Sunday (5 days a week) includes weekendsWhat's InvolvedEnsuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables (dressings, linen, instruments, and equipment) by the process of decontamination, inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards.Rigorously checking, washing, laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards.Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors, ultrasonic and sterilisers) effectively.Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak).Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trust’s appointed person.Required ExperienceEducated to a good general standard with demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities.Basic end user IT skills to operate track and traceability IT system.SkillsFlexibilityTeamworkIntegrityWorking under pressureAccountabilityAttention to detailFor more information about us, please visit our STERIS IMS website: https://www.steris-ims.co.uk/Equal OpportunitiesSTERIS plc provides employment and advancement opportunities without regard to age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion/belief, sex (gender), sexual orientation or any other legally protected characteristic as defined by UK employment law.
