This is a unique opportunity to build a world-class cricket programme that provides life-changing opportunities for high-potential cricketers from low-income families, offering them the same pathways as their peers in the private sector.Your impactAs the founding head of cricket, you will be the architect of our cricketing future. Reporting directly to the chief executive, you will:build from scratch: Create the Dixons Cricket Academy, securing facilities, fundraising, and building a team of coaches and partners.drive social mobility: Lead our ground-breaking talent identification programme. This is underpinned by a concrete commitment: protecting 10% of places at three of our secondary schools in Bradford and Leeds for high-potential cricketers from low-income families.design the strategy: Create and execute a 5-year plan for cricket across all our academies. The role will work across all our cities but will initially focus on establishing the programme in Bradford and Leeds.elevate performance: Coach our elite trust teams to compete with the best independent schools and manage a high-quality fixture list and tours.forge a future: Build powerful partnerships with county boards, clubs, and organisations like the ECB to open professional pathways for our students.Who we are looking forWe are seeking a visionary leader and an elite coach.
