They are committed to maintaining high standards in their financial operations and are known for their structured and professional environment.DescriptionAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesPrepare and review stock reportsAccount ReconciliationsFixed asset and lease accounting and maintenance of Fixed Asset registerFuel invoices & Private Mileage cost posting and monitoringCredit Card cost posting and ensuring correct support and VAT accountingPetty Cash and Store cash posting and monitoringExpenses posting and monitoringSupport the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filingsPurchase Ledger supervision: Oversee a team of two in processing supplier invoices.Supplier Master data maintenanceEnsuring the team have all invoices posted on time and accuratelyEnsuring queries are resolved in a timely mannerEnsuring payment runs pay due invoices on time and maximise supplier discountsReconciliation of supplier accounts/inter-company accounts/statementsProfileA successful Accounts Assistant should have: Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.AAT StudierProficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
