We are now looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join the team. Experienced in 1st and 2nd line IT support we are looking for someone that has experience of working onsite with clients, great communication skills as well as strong technical IT support engineer knowledge. The company are superb to work for and provide a great environment and culture with great training and development opportunities.Main Responsibilities as IT Field EngineerBased from home looking after your schoolsProviding a planned and reactive service to your sites across all of their IT Support needsInstalling, maintaining a range of software, hardware and accessories including interactive whiteboards and learning toolsMaintaining and developing excellent client relationshipsHandling all technical IT support problems and issues that may ariseEscalating issues where neededDevising plans with the client to ensure continuity of service and best use of budgetsLiaising with multiple contacts for different departments across siteWorking closely with the IT Managers and senior leadership teamsMain SkillsA background in 1st, 2nd line IT support, ideally with field experienceIdeally education sector experiencePossess great communication skills and an ability to build client relationships effectivelyTechnical knowledge of:Windows Server 2008 – 2016Assisting with managing Active Directory environments and using Group Policy in an environment of 30+ devicesDNS, DHCP, and the TCP/IP suiteWDS, MDT, or other imaging tools (both creating and deploying images)Windows 7 – 10Office 365“Serata Search are operating as an employment agency”
