This role does not offer sponsorship.We are seeking a passionate and creative Food Technology Teacher to join our school and inspire students across all key stages. You will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), promoting practical skills, independence, and confidence in the kitchen.About the Role                     In this role, you will contribute to the wider school community, supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing, and ensuring a calm and safe learning environment that reflects our commitment to educating the whole child. You will also work closely with colleagues and the Senior Leadership Team to monitor progress, implement interventions, and help drive continuous improvement across the school.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, deliver, and adapt Food Technology lessons for a range of additional needs across all key stages.Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.Track and monitor pupil progress, using assessment data to inform teaching and set targets.Support literacy and numeracy interventions within lessons as needed.Contribute to school development initiatives and report on teaching and learning to SLT.Cover classes as needed and provide additional support to colleagues.Experience & QualificationsUK QTS DesirableExperience in or willingness to teach Food Technology.Understanding of pupils with SEN and strategies to support diverse learning needs.Good literacy and numeracy skills.Full driving licence and willingness to undertake professional training.Knowledge of safeguarding principles.About usManor House School is a DfE registered independent school which caters for boys and girls with social, emotional and mental health needs between the ages of 7-18 years old.We are part of Acorn Education and can promise you plenty of challenges, and a rich variety of opportunities to develop your career.
