As they embark on a significant greenfield data transformation project, they seek a talented professional to spearhead their data pipeline development, leveraging advanced technologies such as Snowflake. This role offers a unique chance to shape a new data ecosystem from scratch, working within a supportive environment that values expertise, innovation, and collaboration.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformation processes utilizing modern tools and frameworksImplement and optimise data workflows and ETL procedures within SnowflakeCreate robust data models to support advanced analytics and machine learning initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business data requirements and deliver effective solutionsEstablish and enforce data governance standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and complianceDrive data discovery processes to catalogue valuable assets across multiple business unitsSupport the deployment of machine learning models and interpret results to inform business decisionsSupport and manage a small team of Data EngineersCandidate Profile:strong background in building enterprise data solutionsExtensive hands-on experience with Python and data transformation techniquesMust have led and developed a team of Data Engineers Expertise in Snowflake cloud data platform and ETL process optimisationFamiliarity with machine learning tools such as TensorFlow or scikit-learnStrong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExperience managing end-to-end data projects within a fast-paced environmentAs this role will evolve into a Head of Data you MUST have managed and developed a team as you will be leading and mentoring a teamThis role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of a greenfield project, with the ability to influence the organisation’s data architecture from the ground up.If you are passionate about harnessing data to drive impactful business outcomes and meet the criteria outlined above, we encourage you to apply and take the next step in your career journey with us.
