This is a rare opportunity to join a brand-new client of Jackson Hogg and play a pivotal role in shaping, developing, and leading an electrical division with true autonomy.We’re looking for someone with at least 5 years of management experience who thrives in an environment where no two days are the same, someone equally comfortable leading people, improving processes, winning work, estimating projects, and still being hands-on when required.If you want progression, the freedom to make an impact, and the chance to build something meaningful, this role offers exactly that.Job DescriptionLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing electrical teamAct as NICEIC Duty Holder / QS and maintain annual accreditationOversee installation, testing, compliance, and remedial works across commercial and industrial siteEnsure all work aligns with BS7671, CDM, and wider H&S standardsManage the full electrical compliance programme and associated improvement worksGet involved in estimating when needed, using systems such as SAGE, Eque2, or similarIdentify new business opportunities and bring existing customer contacts where possibleMonitor budgets, costs, and department financial performanceSkills Required Minimum 5 years’ management experience within electrical contracting, maintenance, or complianceStrong background in commercial/industrial electrical installationsProven ability to run, grow, or significantly improve a department or divisionNICEIC experience (QS/Duty Holder) highly desirableExcellent knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and wider electrical systemsCommercial awareness and experience managing budgetsStrong communication, leadership, and customer engagement skillsAbility to multitask, prioritise, and perform under pressureIT proficiency, including MS Office and estimating softwareNVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, 2391 (or equivalent) requiredSMSTS / IOSH desirable
