Join us and help shape the regulatory decisions and frameworks that will underpin the UK’s path to Net Zero.Job descriptionLead the delivery of regulatory policy with respect to Ofgem’s regulation of the Low Carbon RAB team programmes.Undertake analysis on proposals and their impacts and effectively communicating the benefits, challenges and trade-offs to senior colleagues.Lead the production of high-quality outputs, including policy papers, consultations and decision letters.Making evidenced recommendations on regulatory matters, such as reopener cost allowances, code or licence modification proposals .Lead the management of multiple workstreams, including building relationships with external stakeholders, representing Ofgem externally, and overseeing the prioritisation, scoping, and delivery of work. This also involves proactive engagement with key internal Ofgem functions to identify and manage risks and issues.Person specificationEssential CriteriaDemonstrates understanding of economic regulation principles or experience of working in a regulated utilities/ Infrastructure environment, alongside experience in energy policy development.
