My client is a leading international Data Centre provider, that designs, builds and operates CoLo and hyperscale Data Centres all over the world.They deliver electrical and mechanical maintenance in-house, and are seeking an experienced Critical Shift Engineer with experience in data centres or other critical environments.This is a great opportunity to join and end-user company that prioritises the training and development of their staff, offering clear paths to progression and career planning. Duties & Responsibilities Demonstrable experience in operating and fault finding complex and integrated M&E systems including:Transformers, LV, Generators, UPS, Electrical distribution, BMS, Air Conditioning, Fire suppression systems.Cooling Systems (Chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Piping)Building Management Systems (BMS) for monitoring and control of electrical and mechanical infrastructure.LV and HV switching; writing switching schedules, performing shutdowns.Creating and developing SOP and EOP documentation and other related/similar processes. Qualifications/ EducationCity and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.Experience in facilities, operations or engineering; in a Data Centre critical environment.LVAP or HVAP qualification/experience.
