This is a truly rewarding opportunity to help pupils with a range of learning and behavioural needs reach their full potential in a nurturing and positive environment.About the RoleCrookhey Hall School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work alongside teachers in delivering high-quality education to small groups. LSAs play a vital role in classroom support, behaviour management, and helping pupils access a broad and balanced curriculum.What You’ll DoSupport pupils 1:1 or in small groups to help them engage and succeed in lessonsAssist teachers across a range of subjects and classroom activitiesPrepare engaging resources and displays to enhance learningPromote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and self-esteemSupervise and support pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and transitionsHelp maintain a purposeful, inclusive, and inspiring learning environmentAttend training and staff meetings to share ideas and grow your skillsWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential, patient, resilient, and calm under pressure, and a strong communicator who works well in a team. You should be adaptable, positive, and ready to learn, with a full UK driving licence.Essential:GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C / 4 or above)Basic IT skills and confidence with digital toolsHigh expectations of pupil behaviour and achievementDesirable:Experience in education, care, or support workQualifications in Childcare, Education, or Social CareExperience supporting pupils with Autism or SEMHAt Crookhey Hall, we support every child to thrive.
