Application Specific Integrated Circuit Design Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established UK team and play an integral role in the growth and success of a global leader in wireless technology for IoT. You’ll be designing chips from first principles through to final silicon and seeing your work go into products used worldwide. Their SoC solutions are deployed by leading brands across wireless PC peripherals, gaming, sports and fitness, mobile phone accessories, consumer electronics, toys, healthcare, and automation — giving you the chance to make a visible impact on real-world applications. As part of the SoC team, you will be responsible for digital IC design, integration, and verification, contributing to the development of next-generation ultra-low-power Wi-Fi devices. Key responsibilitiesDevelopment of Wi-Fi products, including microcontrollers and connectivityDigital IC design and verificationLogic synthesis and static timing analysisFPGA-based prototyping, including design adaptations and synthesisTop-level integration and verificationSystem-level analysis and architectural decision-makingSpecification work at block and chip level Qualifications & skillsBSc/MSc in Electronics Engineering or related fieldExperience in digital IC design, verification, synthesis, STA, or pre-silicon prototyping is preferred What’s on offerCompetitive salary £70,000 – £80,000 DOEShort- and long-term incentive plansBonus schemeMedical insuranceExcellent career development opportunities in a global market leaderSponsorship and relocation support can be given for Engineers located in the EU If you’re excited by the opportunity to design cutting-edge wireless SoCs and see your work in real-world products, this role offers a fantastic next step.
