We’re now looking for a passionate and experienced Area Care Manager to lead and inspire our branch teams across London and Kent.About the RoleAs an Area Care Manager, you will be responsible for the operational leadership of multiple branches, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and profitable care services. You’ll work closely with Registered Branch Managers to maintain compliance, drive performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.You’ll be a key figure in managing customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and commercial success. This role requires a strong leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on support, and who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide visible and effective leadership to Branch Care ManagersDeliver excellent customer service standards and resolve escalated complaintsEnsure branches meet compliance standards and achieve high CQC/CIW ratingsMonitor and improve quality performance using data and insightLead recruitment, retention, and succession planning across the areaManage financial performance and contribute to business planningSupport new branch openings and relocationsAct as a point of escalation for out-of-hours issues and safeguarding concernsCollaborate with internal teams including Finance, Quality, Recruitment, and MarketingBuild strong relationships with external stakeholders such as local authorities and familiesWhat We’re Looking ForEssential:Proven experience managing multi-site teams in a regulated healthcare environmentStrong understanding of care regulations and best practiceExcellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skillsFinancial and commercial acumenExperience in performance management, recruitment, and employee relationsIT literate, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with care rostering systemsFull driving licence and willingness to travelDesirable:Experience in home care and private/publicly funded care deliveryLevel 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)Why Join UsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established care provider with a strong reputation for quality and innovation.
