Our exceptional quality is driven by a deep investment in and the daily practice of continually improving our people, processes, and products. www.pursuitaero.comAlways Pursuing Better.Purpose/ SummaryThe IT Support Technician position is responsible for providing technical support services to end users, hardware and software installation, repairs, upgrades, troubleshooting of issues, researching and resolving complex problems, and performing project work as assigned.Core Duties And ResponsibilitiesUnder direct supervision:Utilizes the IT service ticketing system and provides exceptional technical support to end users via phone, email or in-personEnsures proper procedures are followed when identifying problemsTroubleshoots and resolves issues related to user access, service interruptions, and hardware and software problems Coordinates on-site visits as needed with end users to efficiently resolve technical problems and ensures proper communication of resolution to the customerInstalls, configures, and maintains computer systems and network devices Manages planned and unplanned downtimes following proper proceduresExecutes checklists and scripts of tasks with excellent attention to detailSchedules migration tasks and provides end users training Communicates with internal customers to deliver training and responds to questions during training sessionsDocuments all support activities and resolutions Participates in special IT projects, providing technical proficiency where neededCollaborates with the IT team to identify and implement solutions to improve client satisfactionStays current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT supportPerforms other related duties as assigned Required Minimum QualificationsKnowledge, Skill & Ability:Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Windows hardware environmentEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with multiple levels Excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologiesDetail oriented skills with attention to accuracyAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Highly organized with the ability to multi-taskAbility to provide clear, concise, easy to understand training Education/ExperienceTwo (2) years of experience in IT Help Desk, technical support environment, or related fieldTechnical certifications in IT a plusPreferred QualificationsAssociate’s or higher degree in an information technology related field, or equivalent work experienceActively enrolled in or graduated from an IT training course or degree programACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
