Performance Test Expert (NFT, Non-Functional Testing and Strategy) – Banking ClientDuration: 1 yearRate: €600 per dayLocation: London Hybrid Working - 8 days onsite in the London office per month.Role:As a specialist in non-functional related testing, you will assist the squads in shaping and managing the Non-Functional test requirements.Together with the technical experts & analyst you will translate those requirements into a test strategy and ensure proper and timely preparation and execution in alignment with our Infrastructure & Security divisions.You will be part of a team of 3 NFT specialist in which cross-learning & collaboration is valued. The NFT domains to be covered by the team are multiple (but not exclusive): Disaster Recovery, Resilience, Microservices, security, Alerting, Monitoring, Performance, CPU Usage.Key Responsibilities:Drive the definition and testing of non-functional requirements (NFRs) as part of the Technology transformation (JAVA, KAFKA, Linux, Cloud, API)Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure non-functional requirements are clearly defined and are testableDefine and articulate the Non-Functional Test StrategyDesign and execute NFR testing cycles, coordinating efforts with external teams until bottleneck resolution through root cause examination. Documenting test results, and compiling results into consolidated high-level reportsRequirements:Hands- on experience of in the preparation & execution of Non-Functional Testing, ideally within Financial ServicesKnowledge of non-functional testing including performance, Scalability, reliability, Failover/ Disaster Recovery, accessibility testingExperience of using testing tools e.g. Performance Center/ LoadRunner, ADS, Selenium, Xray, SplunkAre familiar with working within large scale & complex Technology Implementation or changeExperience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive non-functional test approach/plans and casesAre technically strong and are able to translate requirements towards technical experts at the level of security and/or infrastructureAbility to translate test results into understandable language for non-specialists & advice the business, design, infrastructure & development teams on resolution prioritiesHands on experience of agile Development practices, DevOps pipelines, continuous integration / deployment and test automationPlease do send an up to date CV to eobiechefu@welovesalt.com
